This consultation is helpful for addressing a wide range of breastfeeding concerns, including pain during latch, baby refusing the breast, insufficient weight gain, low milk supply, oversupply, cracked nipples, mastitis, blocked ducts (lactostasis), and other challenges.

How the consultation works:

• The doctor listens to your story and questions and assesses your situation.
• The baby is examined and the feeding process is observed.
• You receive clear, practical guidance tailored to your specific concern.
• The doctor develops a general plan for monitoring your child’s health and provides individualised advice on care and development.
• For up to 3 days after the consultation, you may ask brief follow-up questions related to the same case.
• If needed, the specialist may recommend additional tests or referrals to other healthcare professionals.

Follow-up lactation consultation
This option is suitable for those who have already had an initial consultation and need additional support or clarification of recommendations.
