Speech Delay and Disorder Consultation with a Special Education Specialist
An in-person child assessment during which the specialist evaluates the child’s speech and psychological development. If signs of delayed or impaired speech or mental development are observed, the specialist helps create an individual intervention plan and provides personalised recommendations for supporting your child at home.
How the consultation works:
- The consultation lasts 50 minutes at the clinic.
- Parents’ observations and the child’s medical and developmental history are reviewed.
- The child’s speech, communication skills, and cognitive development are assessed.
- Exercises and techniques to support the child’s development are demonstrated.
- A plan for further work is discussed, along with guidance for supporting development at home and in learning environments.
- If needed, the specialist may recommend additional assessments or refer the child to other professionals to clarify the diagnosis or provide further support.
Who provides the service:
A speech and special education therapist and corrective-focused clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with children of different ages and developmental needs. The specialist takes an individualised, child-centred approach to development.
Fee: 1050 UAH.
