In-Home Breastfeeding Specialist Consultation
This service helps address breastfeeding challenges such as pain during latching, baby refusing the breast, insufficient weight gain, postpartum engorgement, blocked ducts (lactostasis), mastitis, and other difficulties.
How the consultation works:
- The specialist visits your home in Lviv or Vynnyky (our administrator will confirm availability in your area).
- The consultation takes place in your home environment, where you normally feed your baby. The doctor helps you set up a comfortable feeding and care space.
- The doctor reviews your current feeding situation and listens to your questions, examines your baby, and assesses feeding technique.
- You receive clear, practical guidance on establishing breastfeeding, infant care, and organizing feeding routines.
- The doctor creates a general plan for monitoring your baby’s health and, if needed, recommends additional tests or referrals to other specialists.
- For 3 days after the visit, you may ask brief follow-up questions related to the same concern.
